F*** ICE Knitting Pattern

Yarns & Supplies

Color A - Friends Cotton 8/4 - Denim (80) 1 skein

Color B - Friends Cotton 8/4 - Icy Blue (76) 1 skein

Needles Used - 2.5mm / US1.5 (or size needed for gauge)

40cm/16in circulars or straight needles work

Gauge - 32 sts and 44 rows = 4” [10 cm] in stocking st after blocking.

Finished bookmark measures 1.625”w x 6.25”h or 4.1cm x 15.9cm

Instructions

You will be following the chart using the intarsia method for the color work.

Light blue squares are always knit stitches on both the right side and wrong side of your work.

The white/black squares are worked in stockinette stitch.

Color A will be used for the background color (white/blue squares).

Color B will be used for the lettering (black squares).

As you can imagine this creates a lot of ends to weave in, I do recommend weaving them in as you go so you’re not left with a bunch to do at the end of your project. They also can get in the way of your working yarn.
